Our Custom Calendar highlights the Major Events in St. Ignace and on Mackinac Island. Plus a few others. Come for one event and you might get two! These are the Major Events taking place in St. Ignace - 2024
Labatt Blue and St. Ignace Hockey present this year's 4-on-4 pond hockey championships. 2024 marks the 17th year for a tournament that began back in 2007. Approximately 150 teams participate each year and they come from as far away as Florida and Texas.
Little Bear East Arena & Conference Center present the St. Ignace Home Show, Spring Expo & Gun Show, a 2-day sales and marketing event offering valuable face-to-face personal contact with customers.This great event is extensively advertised in all major media including TV, radio, magazine, newspaper, billboard and internet. While our town is historic and quaint, our show is vibrant and large. Our exhibitors include home & garden, automotive & recreational vehicles, sporting goods and much more
Love the UP? Love your Jeep? If the answer is yes then this event is for you. Sometimes a Bridge Crossing, other times, a Special Event, with Jeep The Mac to Drummond Island and your will have participated in a truly memorable experience. 2024 ALERT!!!NO BRIDGE CROSSING! EVENT TBD.
It is a day to recognize and celebrate the rich culture and contributions of the Anishinaabe people from the area. At its idyllic location close to the shores of Lake Huron, the festival shines with amazing energy, pride and excitement in the drummers, dancers, workshop presenters, visitors and supporters who attend the festival each year.
2024 SPECIAL! We are honored to have the Screamin' Rebels Vintage War Birds doing a flyover of downtown at noon. All authentic WWII planes!
The first ever Bronco the Mac event was held in 2023. Over 120 Broncos from classics to 6th generation were there. A police-escorted drive across the Mackinac Bridge and back, a. parade through town, plus several group trail rides were all held over a two day period in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
2024's event should be very well attended.
One of the largest all-make, all-model shows in the country takes place just across the Mackinac Bridge in St. Ignace. Hundreds of antique, custom, and celebrity automobiles take part in this internationally acclaimed event. Parades, cruises, awards, and more! Upwards of 700 entries are generally displayed, including hot rods, custom vehicles, trucks, and more.
Combining the nostalgic sentiment of a small-town celebration with the picturesque backdrop of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island makes the 4th of July in St. Ignace something special. Starting at 1:00pm the Ruby Goudreau Memorial July 4th Parade, Downtown St. Ignace. At 2:00pm is Kiwanis Kids’ Games, Dock #3/Coast Guard Park, S. State Street. The at 3:00pm St. Ignace Fire Department Open House, Dock #3/Coast Guard Park, S. State Street, Live Music, Brats, Hot Dogs, Ice Cream, Pop.
What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys? A town of Minis! More than 1,300 MINI Coopers gather each year for MINIs on the Mack, a parade across the Mackinac Bridge in Northern Michigan, and to break the English-held world record for largest-ever MINI Cooper parade.
Join us for the 5th annual Straits Brews Bash in downtown St. Ignace, This popular event will be taking place dockside at the St. Ignace Marina. Choose and sample dozens of varieties of craft beer produced by local breweries, grab some pub grub and settle in to listen to live music.
Rendezvous at the Straits French Voyager Reenactment and Pow Wow, is a 2-DAY family event celebrating the history of the St. Ignace area at the Father Marquette National Memorial just off US-2 west of I-75 in St. Ignace. Admission is $4.00 for Elders, children 5 and under are free, and $5.00 for everyone else.
This 2-day event features over 100 exhibits of original and unique arts and crafts displayed along the Huron Boardwalk at the St. Ignace Public Marina. Food, music and many great activities await! Don't forget to schedule time for the Annual Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk on Monday.
Arts Dockside hours are Saturday, September 3, 9:00 am-6:00 pm; Sunday, September 4, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
The Bridge Walk is a non-competitive event allowing participants to walk across the Mackinac Bridge. Walkers can choose to start from either end, turn around at the midpoint or complete the entire bridge. Participants must be physically fit, aware of risks, and prohibited from running or racing. Upon completion, participants receive a numbered bridge walk certificate.
2024 MACKINAC BRIDGE EVENT UPDATE. The Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing community is diligently trying to make the 2024 event happen. Bridge repair is a must and last year they were denied the request. MBA 2024 contracts are out there for review by contractors. Our company and the MBA know what it means to the community.

Mackinac Island is celebrating its 76th Annual Lilac Festival, June 7 -16, 2024. It’s the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the country. Since the first Mackinac Race in 1925, Bayview Yacht Club has hosted this spectacular annual fresh water event which has attracted intrepid sailors from around the globe.

The International Ironworker Festival is an annual event held each summer in Mackinaw City. It attracts Ironworkers from across the United States and Canada to compete in friendly competition. It is open to the General Public, although only Ironworkers and Retirees can compete in the skilled events. These events include knot tying, rod tying, rivet toss, spud throw, column climb (Field Event), and the World Championship Column Climb. Come join us for a fun filled weekend!
The Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show has been a major attraction since it began in 1978 and it continues to improve every year. Now in its 46th year, the festival and show attract over 150 antique and classic boats , more than 5000 attendees, and utilize more than 300 volunteers to assist with this amazing show. It is known as one of the largest shows featuring antique and classic wooden boats.
